In this workshop and presentation, you will learn where this ancient hula type came from and who perpetuates it today. Other topics discussed will be how ki’i can be used in the classroom and how it can help with plant based learning.
Ki’i presenters will be Mauliloa Cook (protege of Auntie Nona Beamer) and Maile Loo of the Hula Preservation Society.
