Beginner-Intermediate Ceramics – Dan Bennett
Wednesdays – 4:30pm To 6:30pm
Saturdays – 2pm to 4pm
Learn how to develop vessel and sculptural concepts using wheel throwing and hand building techniques. Introduction to the elements of art through the making of the ceramic form. Progresses beyond basic throwing techniques to intermediate throwing skills, various forming and embellishing techniques both on the wheel and subsequent to throwing colored slip work, glaze work, the firing of kilns and various tasks encountered in studio management. Students work towards development of individual creative expression. Materials cost included in the studio membership fee, provide your own tools. Feeling hesitant about taking this class? Strings Class (Molokai Instrument Program)- Bob Underwood
A musical strings class for adults as well as children age 5+ up are may participate free of charge. Instruments are available for loan including violin, viola, cello, and string bass.
Adults and children 3rd grade and up are welcome to this musical class free of charge. Emphasis is on music performance with a concert as a grand finale. Instruments are provided as loan including the clarinet, flutes, saxophones, trumpets, and trombones.
