DIRECTOR OF NON-PROFIT

 

The Molokai Arts Center is seeking a part-time (19 hours per week) director of its non-profit organization. Responsibilities include: program development and coordination, public relations, grant writing, membership and donor development, and community outreach and partnerships (on island and state wide). The salary is $25/hr and the position begins March 1st.

 

Qualified applicants should possess an ability to work with others, be engaged in the community, possess strong communications and writing skills, have advanced computer skills, adept at using social media platforms, be able to work with a budget, and have a developed interest in the visual and performing arts. Applicants should also have advanced experience in fundraising, grant writing and donor development. Preference will be given to those applicants with a Bachelor’s degree, non-profit management experience, and experience in arts administration.

 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create a full time, long term executive position for themselves as the MAC expands in becoming more successful in building a sustainable income stream and fund development.
